Good Day All,

I am coming to the end of my current contract on the Rumaila Oilf field in Southern Iraq, where I have been employed as a Security and safety manager for the past 6 years. During this time I have been employed on maintenance and construction projects in conjunction with companies such as Saipem, Petrofac, CCC, ABB Sweden and Unaoil.

Previous to this I worked for 10 years as a plumber, gas and pipe fitter on domestic and commercial projects, holding relevant qualifications such as an NVQ and gas safe qualification (Expired.) Previous to this I served in HR Royal Marines and left service as a non commissioned officer.

I am now wishing to pursue a career in the UK Health and Safety and when i return to the UK in April I will sit my NEBOSH GNC and in May the construction crossover, having previously obtained the IOSH Managing safely qualification. I am looking for a kind individual or organisation who would be prepared to allow me to 'shadow' them during days between these courses and whilst I await my results. I am based in the North East of England and willing to travel and will offer anyone kindly willing to take me up on this offer my time and help in your daily activities wherever I can be of use to you.
