Hi my name is Cheuk-Hoi

Nice to meet you all, I new to is forum.

I understand this question may have asked a lot, but will be glad if you can still give me some pointer.

I came back from Hong Kong, working as Environmental Supervisor/Safety Assistant. At a civil engineering company for two years.

Since I got back to UK, I realize i wanted to do Safety as well as Environmental. However all the jobs i have been looking for, all require NEBOSH.

I currently staying at Scotland, and will apply for the NEBOSH Certificate. But there's no guarantee i will pass, none will company take me on just because i got the certificate.

Is there any way to get some H&S Experience while waiting to get NEBOSH Certificate? Should i do freelance?

I currently don't have a full time job, just working part-time here and there. So i really want to get back into Safety and Environmental.

Any suggestion or advice will be great.

Also any suggestion for looking for jobs? I checked out indeed and reed etc.. not really helping much.

Thanks

NEBOSH Certificate is a basic OHS qualification, at initial stage look for voluntary works, attend in IOSH branch meeting and establish networking with other members..hope you could proceed
