Good morning All I have over 15 years experience working as a sub-contractor, mostly residential. I have left the trade at various points for pastures new, only to return. I started a HNC in Construction and Built environment but didn't finish this. I am now working for a large company who maintain a large stock of social housing properties as a maintenance operative (multi skilled - I am confident with plastering, carpentry, painting/decorating...). I would like to look for more senior roles within the same sector, perhaps starting as a maintenance supervisor. What are my options? I am 40+ now and really like to put my skills to better use. I have looked into getting the CSCS Blue Card, getting a job and completing a Level 3 qualification, then over time working towards level 4. Would like to hear from anyone who can help, not entirely sure how to progress. Thanks.
