I have now completed my BSc OSH and I am currently employed in the government service. I have over 10 years service. The only post that is available to practice is a Public Health Inspector. Would it be wise to leave the service in order to fully practice health and safety or remain in the public service where support is limited, and the culture and bureaucracy contribute to limited opportunities for development?

You need to decide what H&S Niche you want to go into and train into thatYour BSc OSH is the same as a Level 6 Diploma so you need to decide if you want to specialise in a certain sector or stay within the government sector. Only you can decide that, Make your mind up and then we can hopefully point you to the right course and training structure
