Hi,

Just had NGC3 results back and have missed out on the pass mark by 9 marks.

First question does the training provider you undertake the course with mark your assignments? If so are some assignments harshley marked depending on who you to do the NGC through?

Your training provider marks it. They are supposed to be fair, not harsh or soft. If you go on the NEBOSH website they gave a free 26 page guide on how to write and mark NGC3. My experience is that very few NEBOSH students bother to read it; if you follow it you can guage your mark accurately and should not fail. There are also loads of examples on the web (but don't copy or NENOSH will rusticate you!)

Your training book should have a "full marks" example which, if you follow and refer to (in your own area) should provide great support in completing the unit as required

and to answer the unasked question about submitting again in the future - I would strongly advise you to structure your submission using the headings and criteria set out in the NEBOSH guide to the module
