I have done by IOSH Managing safely course and am looking to progress but I am not sure I want to go straight to NEBOSH. Do you know if there is anything that will give me more knowledge than IOSH but don't as in depth as NEBOSH?

NCRQ is an alternative - practical module based. The NVQ L3 in Occupational H&S is also ideal for a foundation, whereby you are assessed and there is underlying knowledge requirements for you to drive your own knowledge (assessor here is key), but the NEBOSH General Cert is the primary requirement by most employers.

Thanks Waz. To be honest I want to develop my career more in the HR side of things and will be studying CIPD at the same time so haven't got the capacity to do NEBOSH right now. I will look into the NVQ. Ta

Have a look at the new NCFE IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Safety and Health for Business . This might be a good stepping stone. https://www.iosh.co.uk/Training/IOSH-Qualification.aspx
