Good morning sir,

Please advise me

Is Nebosh IGC is equal to Iosh Managing safely?

Nebosh IGC or Diploma can be consider as academic qualification ?

Is Iosh also providing the same qualification as same as Nebosh.?

Well, Managing Safely isn't a qualification as such - it's just a 4-day training course to teach managers (not H&S professionals) the basics of H&S.

The IGC is a recognised qualification, has more to it, and is more suitable for a H&S professional.  For example, it can count towards qualifying for a professional membership of IOSH.

I would personally call the Certificate and Diploma vocational qualifications rather than academic ones, but that's not to denigrate them.  IOSH describes them as meeting the 'academic requirements' of membership grades.

There are also other courses available, and there's a list of those recognised by IOSH here: https://www.iosh.co.uk/Membership/About-membership/Qualifications.aspx?pagesize=20&types=%7b04285C80-B13B-49EE-8F3B-70219D6B6680%7d%7c%7b938F3478-BE31-4358-8BFF-924F49AD9BF9%7d%7c%7bF687E1E8-EAE0-4D75-9FE1-0783EA98C8CB%7d&course=%7bAE8A988B-30A0-4E4B-85D7-9CD9B2F233CA%7d&

Parevezsafety, don't limit yourself just to Nebosh.

The NCRQ is also worthy of consideration and personally, I think it's better than Nebosh by a mile.

(NCRQ National Compliance and Risk Qualification).

Much of what you need to know about NCRQ is here https://www.ncrq.org.uk/

IOSH isn't a certificated course e.g. a qualification;

The NEBOSH International General Certificate is the most recognised H&S qualification across the world and allows membership to IOSH at Associate level (AIOSH), as does the NVQ L3 in Occupational H&S and I believe the NCRQ Level 3 Certificate.

The latter 2 courses (NVQ & NCRQ) are more vocational versus the NEBOSH, which is more academic - and this is traditionally the route NEBOSH takes.

The IOSH 'Managing Safely' is an awareness level course however, IOSH rolled out the level 3 'Safety and Health for Business' in late 2017 and the first delivery took place in Arbroath in May.

Well worth investigating.
