I am a Trustee of a small friendly charity based in Salford Manchester. We are recruiting for a part-time (approximately 14 hours a week, split over two days or several half days. However, this has to be agreed with Community Director in advance). The role is purely x6 months (26 weeks in total) and no longer, therefore, some hard targets to achieve in that time; we need someone competent, experienced and focused on delivery. We do have some systems set up by an outside consultancy, however, we need more focus on operational delivery of systems. The role will be focused on supporting the charity to review, set up, monitor, train staff and review safe systems of work to sure that its embedded and that board receive assurance that H&S is being suitably managed across its 3 premises (all loosely located in a small area of Manchester)

If anyone is interested, please PM me. We do have a JD for this role, however, please note due to probity and internal processes anyone that wants to apply for the role will have to fill in an application form and attend an interview. The suitable candidate should have a minimum NEBOSH general/NCRQ certificate and be competent in communicating the risk/health and safety agenda in a positive way to lay people that work or volunteer for our organisation.  The role will be paying the market rate. The rate will be dependent on the experience and qualifications of the person applying for the role.
