One of the first signs of H₂S exposure is irritation of the mucous membranes. The smell is generally described as "rotten eggs," and the dimethyl sulfide odor has been reported as more pleasant. A real problem arises if the sensor is removed or poisoned, the smell fades or disappears, and there is a chance of an H₂S leak without the possibility of detecting it. Even if the odor is no longer recognizable, the gas concentration may be very high. A gas lower explosive limit (LEL) monitor can be useful since H₂S is always mixed with natural gas, but not all gas detectors contain LEL sensors. Shortness of breath occurs due to the inability of the body to use oxygen, as the fetus is the most sensitive to asphyxia. There is also a highly toxic form of H₂S, which is the most challenging to handle in respect to the greatly reduced threshold limit values typical for these forms. Due to its toxicity, H₂S released into the environment has a significant impact that indirectly leads to the worsening of the general quality of life. Inhalation of contaminated air leads to a decrease of oxygen in the blood, creating an anoxic condition, which causes the typical symptoms of suffocation. Some of the symptoms described above may also be caused by numerous other conditions, and only an exposure to H₂S can distinguish them. Some symptoms of light to moderate exposure may disappear quickly following removal to fresh air and all initially affected individuals maintaining a calm and resting condition.

To sum up, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a highly toxic gas that can cause damage very quickly. Its influence to the living body goes from the irritation of senses to the complete paralysis of the respiratory system and death occurring in a sudden manner. Due to such an extreme risk potential, the implementation of strict safety measures, monitoring, and consciousness is the only way that safety can be ensured in the presence of such a risk source.

When its full of American English spellings.

When it contains factual inaccuracy -

The smell does not disappear the body is overwhelmed.

H2S is not always mixed with "natural gas" depends upon the source and procesing prior to distribution.

When its scenario is questionable -

Just who is piping H2S so that a leak may occur?

It depends on the sources, such as oil and gas, the industrial and agricultural sectors, and the rest

Hello stivo4real

Perhaps you could explain your purpose in posting all these mini-essays?

What is it that you are looking to achieve?

Mostly, genuine posts on here have some discernible purpose, often consisting of a description of some genuine predicament, or asking a question, or occasionally a disguised wish for assistance with a study assignment or a presentation for a job interview.  Hence the suspicion of multiple posts with no discernible purpose.

thanks 1 user thanked Kate for this useful post.

If you are a actually a human who wants to contribute to the debate, it would probably be a good idea for you to explain what sort of role you have at work and in what sector(s), ditto  geography (or geographies)

As until you do so, seasoned users of these Forums will understanably assume that you are here to disrupt, as we have seen it happen SOOOO many times. Sometimes the disruptor is here to gain commercial advantage, e.g. the ad  that has been referred to, sometimes a bot - with the latter seemingly being the more common in recent weeks.

In the meantime any lawyers and abandoned children who visit these Forums will probably take zero notice of what you have to write as they are unlikely to be gullible enough to think that their patron saint would make a visitation by this particular channel.
