Safety Officer
Salary: £21,585 - £23,259

We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic Safety Officer to promote and develop the in-house management of health and safety. The post holder will be responsible for implementing and auditing safety management systems, for providing expert guidance over a wide range of activities, for the investigation of accidents and for safety training.

Possession of the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification is an essential requirement, plus a minimum of three years practical experience.

Excellent communication and training skills plus the ability to work on his/her own initiative are vital requirements for this post.

The closing date for the receipt of completed application forms is 19 February 2001

If this response is to late then I understand, only I have just been made redundent from my job as H&S Manager so have not been looking until today.

I hold an NVQ 4 in H&S and am also a Member of IOSH.I have over 5 years experiance in H&S.
