I know of kids straight from school getting banking jobs paying more than that. Yet you are looking for someone with 'extensive experience of Health & Safety Legislation and its practical interpretation'. Says it all.

Seconded. Jack, you're making a habit of getting in ahead of me with your responses! Seriously, people should check out the Practitioner bak pages to work out the going rate for the job and responsibilities before using any advertising, let alone 'free ads'.
When I were a lad, the original IOSH (was IISO) magazine, 'Protection', once carried a famous ad recruiting for a 'Safety Officer and Car Park Attendant'. What a row that one caused. Something about peanuts and monkeys flashes across the mind.

Thank goodness, I saw this advertisement and thought I was the only practitioner who considered the salary was a misprint!
