Firstly do not concentrate purely on qualifications, try to build up a portfolio based on your work that included Health and Safety, carrying out risk assessments, working on policies, inspections, projects etc. When you have passed the NEBOSH Cert (positive thinking) consider doing a Diploma, there are others as well as NEBOSH (check out the membership information to the left of this screen).
