Posted By Raymond Donnelly We have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Assistant based at our Head Office in Tannochside near Glasgow. Working as part of a busy Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health (QUENSH) team, you will report to the Quensh Manager and assist in the revision, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Health and Safety System. You will receive the support of a multi disciplinary team. Previous experience working within a health and safety environment is desirable but not essential; the right attitude and a desire to prove yourself is! This role would provide an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in Health and Safety, with good academic qualifications, but lacking in relevant experience. You should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, and the ability to manage your own workload. You should ideally hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. A first or higher degree would be preferred but not essential. Stiell Facilities manage buildings and projects throughout the UK, so some travel and occasional overnight stays may be necessary. A current driving licence is essential. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience. If you are interested, please contact/email your CV to Raymond Donnelly at; donnellyr@stiell.co.uk For more information on the company see our website at www.stiell.co.uk
