I am sure there is a job there somewhere?

Having posted messages previously and having had limited response, I am wondering what I am doing wrong? It would appear that although fully qualified,MIOSH RSP Diploma, construction cert, trainers certificates, 7 years experience etc etc, there is nothing in the North Wales/North west area that is suitable. I also would consider North /UK national work, home based.
I am registered with some agencies, but no response from them either.
Yet people with general certificates and limited experience seem to get job offers, is it the location I am based I wonder?
Constructive thoughts or suggested avenues to try would be welcome.
(Yes I do apply for positions in the Safety practitioner, but little response from there either - athough most jobs are based in the south)

You may need to pester the agencies more, they are working for a large number of people.
Make sure your CV is professional in appearance, and ensure that your letters do not sound too desperate - all advice I have received in the past. The key thing is to sound positive and enthusiastic without sounding desperate and frustrated - very hard to do when you are constantly receiving knock backs.
Make sure you have a good knowledge base in the job areas you are applying - stagnation into certain areas can occur quickly in H&S.
I am sure if you are patient the right job will come irrrespective of location.

Paul,
Don't give up, you will find a job, but it can take some time.
I started my job search back in November last year, it can be a stressful process but you need to keep at it. I'm starting my new job on 2nd June, one that I applied for on 3 March.
If I can help in any way please give me a call.
Best regards and good hunting,
Paul.
