The company also works in tandem with an independent safety consultancy to meet both their own needs and that of their clients. The position entails the conducting of site inspections, the preparation of risk assessments and method statements and the provision of training in various aspects. Alandale Logistics is also undertaking a comprehensive review of its existing health and safety systems in which the candidate would be expected to contribute to fully. In addition the candidate would be responsible for the development of a portfolio of clients for the consultancy, whilst also being able to deliver health and safety training to nationally recognised standards. As a minimum the candidate should have attained ‘TechSP’ or MIIRSM status and have as a minimum, two years experience of health and safety management.However applications from candidates who have suitable experience and have completed the General Certificate will be considered. The candidate must be able be able to work as part of the team and also work on their own, using their initiative to manage projects to a successful conclusion. A full driving licence is required as travel across London and the South East is required.
