Posted By allan wood having just gained employment as a health and safety officer, i would just like to say thanks to all of you who gave your time and energy in replying to my calls for assistance over the last 18 months or so. without this assitance my search for employment in this field would have been that much more difficult. and a message for those still seeking their first break into health and safety keep trying no matter how hard you will get there in the end, just as i have ! many thanks and best regards to all!

Posted By Simon Hatson Congratulations Allan.. May I ask what qualifications you have, I only ask as I too am looking to get into a dedicated safety role, but with "only" (their words not mine) the Nebosh Certificate, as my highest Safety qualification, and only Affiliate membership of IOSH (again their words not mine), I am sturggling to even get an interview! In truth it porbably doesn't help that I'm in Norfolk, as H&S posts are few & far between. Any way, best of luck for the future mate. Kindest regards, Simon
