My name is Mark Hinds. I am 44 years of age and live in Merseyside. I hold a Nebosh General Certificate and have completed the first part of the Nottingham and Trent University Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management. I have funded this myself and hope to be fully qualified by April 2004. I have experience working offshore on oil rigs,also in construction and in heavy industry such as car plants. I have recently finished a 6 months contract as a H&S Practitioner working for an industrial cleaning company and now wish to further my career prospects within a company willing to support me through the remainder of my diploma. This would entail granting day release until the end of January 2004. In return they would gain a dedicated individual, committed to developing a strong health and safety culture within the workplace. I'm a car owner and am willing to travel or possibly re-locate.
