Posted By Adele Weaver I am an experienced H&S Officer seeking a new position covering H&S and training in the Midlands area. Qualified to NEBOSH certificate level, holding TechSP status, and studying NVQ Level 4 Health and Safety Practice. My current role is very varied and I specialise in: • Having a thorough understanding of all matters of legislation from H&S law to employment law; • Carrying out/recording/monitoring risk, manual handling, cossh, fire and noise assessments in medium risk manufacturing environment; • Producing policy manuals and training materials etc, etc. In addition to the usual role of H&S Officer I have had hands-on experience of pulling together in-house training courses covering h&s awareness for manufacturing operatives, office personnel and senior managers. I am not averse to undertaking any training to improve my own knowledge, which is demonstrated by recent achievement of post graduate courses through the Open University. I am motivated by hard work and seeking to work for an employer who believes in the benefits from complying with H&S law and will proactively support h&s advice. Please be advised that I am considering both permanent and contract work. I am presently employed, but I am required only to work one weeks notice. Potential employers please e mail me for a copy of my current CV that lists all my skills, experiences and academic qualifications Please reply to : adeleweaver@blueyonder.co.uk
