You will have a direct input into meeting the company vision of becoming the telecommunications leader in HS&E protection by working with your business partners. Safety issues in the Mobile telecommunications sector are central to the continued growth in the use of our products and services and the positive relationship that we have with our customers and the general public. The challenge is to create a robust and improving safety culture where protecting health, safety and environment are second nature. This key role advises line managers on Health Safety and Environmental issues. You will conduct occupational hygiene surveys, help to ensure legislation is adhered to and develop and deliver appropriate training courses. You will also conduct HS&E systems audits and contribute to the overall setting of Company HS&E policy. Your key responsibilities will be to act as an Occupational Hygienist, be a technical adviser, especially on matters of radio frequency safety, develop and deliver training programmes. You will also conduct audits, review and advise on HS&E legislation, assist with incident investigations and develop company standards and information systems. Your experience of occupational Hygiene or Health and Safety degree (or similar) will complement your knowledge of Radio Frequency safety. You are likely to have at least five years relevant experience and be a Faculty Member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society. Have we awoken your interest? Then convince us! Posted By Dave Wilson Nigel, Just a thought, Occupational Hygiene and H,S&E are two separate disciplines and some would argue three separate if you include Env, with at least three separate qualifications, which do cross in some areas but this is a big area you have opened up.
