This might be a bit of a longshot, but I am trying to help my French boyfriend to find a work placement.
He is 23 and studying Engineering and specialises in Health and Safety (I think it would translate to a Higher National Certificate) and it is a requirement of his course to work for 2 months in an English firm for experience as a health and safety advisor.
He has sent applications to many places, but not had a good response, and I don't know if this is due to the firms not taking placement students or if they don't have health and safety professionals working there.
This is where I wonder if you people can help! He is looking for a place in the Basingstoke/Reading area. Do you have lists of where you have professionals working in this area?
Any information you can give me is much appreciated, or recommendations of who else to ask for information. I have looked everwhere for help, and this seems the first place we can have hope in!
