We advise clients in a wide range of industries including power, transport, utilities, healthcare, education, docks, mines, prisons, defence and waste management. Our health and safety capability throughout Britain has expanded rapidly to reflect our workload. We have a number of current opportunities for staff with varying backgrounds and levels of experience. LOCATION : CUMBRIA (Initially) – Permanent or contract We are looking for a health, safety and environmental engineer. For the first 18-24 months, the role is project-based to support the Partners taking forward design and build of a £multi-million waste management construction project. On completion of this project, the post holder would have the opportunity to continue to advance their career development via a number of routes within Babtie, including within our H&S consultancy unit. The post could suit someone with extensive experience of technical input into construction projects, preferably also with a formal H&S qualification. Alternatively, someone with 5 years experience as an H&S Adviser might be suitable. In this case construction experience would be desirable but not essential. Minimum qualification NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 or equivalent.
