LOCATION : CUMBRIA (Initially) – Permanent or contract We are looking for a health, safety and environmental engineer. For the first 18-24 months, the role is project-based to support the Partners taking forward design and build of a £multi-million waste management construction project. On completion of this project, the post holder would have the opportunity to continue to advance their career development via a number of routes within Babtie, including within our H&S consultancy unit. The post could suit someone with extensive experience of technical input into construction projects, preferably also with a formal H&S qualification. Alternatively, someone with 5 years experience as an H&S Adviser might be suitable. In this case construction experience would be desirable but not essential. Minimum qualification NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 or equivalent.
