I'm currently conducting research into psycho social behaviour.
does anybody have any documentation that allows individuals to conduct an assessment on themselves?
Kind Regards

As a chartered psychologist, chartered FCIPD, registered ergonomist. qualified cousnellor and RSP, I have been active in the occupational stress field for over 20 years.
I can provide you with a guide to assessment of risks organisationwide, that fulfils the requirements of the ACOP for the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. To take it further to the stage of personal self-assement requires adequate training of employees so that they (a) fully undertand the nature of hazards of occupational stress including bullying and harassment by management, other employees and customers as well as differences between sources of cogntive and emotional stress common in their sector of industry, (b) are genuinely free to regularly update their assessments and (c) are not suffering so much from the effects of stress at the time they complete the risk assessment that the assessment is invalid.
Fulfilling the terms of the ACOP through self-assessment is much trickier than meets the eye; it is extremely unlikely that self-assessment on its own would stand up to legal scrutiny.
Once again, you can get a copy of an enabling Little Guide to assessing risks of occupational stress by emailing me, at kieran@enabling-space.com
