Posted By Job Seeker I have recently undertaken a Postgraduate Certificate in Safety and Risk Management through Strathclyde University by Distance Learning. On completion of this course (as I am awaiting the confirmation of my results) I will be deemed to have satisfied the academic requirements for corporate membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Unfortunately, I am finding that I lack the practical safety experience required for many of the positions advertised. I am looking for the opportunity to gain such experience and would be grateful to hear of any positions to which I may submit my CV. Ideally, I am looking for a position in Scotland but would be willing to consider other areas. I currently work in the field of risk management on a number of rail and construction projects. I am an Associate Member of the Institute of Risk Management (AIRM) and undertake the continuous professional development as required by the institute. Please contact my e-mail address or respond to this posting and I will be happy to provide a copy of my CV.

Posted By Job Seeker FYI - I have now received confirmation that I have successfully completed the Post Graduate Certificate as described below. I would be grateful to hear of any opportunities that would allow me to put the theory learnt on the course into practice.
