Posted By Mike Hagan Could anyone give me any pointers as to how our NEBOSH qualifications stand for health & safety work in Canada. Is the structure over there more in line with our own or does it lean towards the OSHA way of doing things? Cheers

Posted By Robert Kingston Mike, I visit Canada on a regular basis to look after out operations there. (Construction)I was expecting OSHA standards on my first visit but it is quite specific Canadian legislation, and what's more varies from Province to Province. The Ontario standards which I am now familiar with are very similar to our own. The Newfoundland & Labrador standards are slightly different to Ontario. Check out the Ontario workers compensation board web site (Use Yahoo) they have a shed load of advice and information on health & safety
