We are seeking keen professionals with experience in health & safety, or water safety, or fire safety
National Britannia is the market leader in providing the highest quality Risk Management consultancy to an expanding range of Blue Chip client’s. These solutions are delivered through innovative management systems.
We need multi-skilled professionals, able to specialise in health & safety or water safety, with 3 years experience for new posts throughout England. Our core activities are risk assessments and audits for health & safety, water safety and fire safety, we also provide a wide variety of training courses.
If you want to succeed in consultancy join our team.
You will be required to:
· Undertake risk assessments in a variety of industry sectors
· Prepare Risk Management systems, often using web enabled delivery
· Manage projects for national clients
· Work flexibly, and be prepared to travel throughout the UK from time to time (limited overnight stays away from home will be required)
Key attributes and knowledge
· Excellent audit and risk assessment skills
· Good organisational ability, self-motivation, and outstanding communication skills
· Corporate membership of IOSH or equivalent
· Qualified or working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
· For L8 water risk assessments, membership of the Water Management Society
· Sound knowledge of the Microsoft package

I manage commercial projects as a safety consultant (UK, EU, USA, Middle East, Asia, Africa). My recent experience includes; advising Grantham College in H & S matters, training local authority fire officers in the subjects of health & safety and fire safety enforcement, giving fire safety' advice to the MoD as ‘Fire Safety Officer at RAF Cranwell, Scampton and Barkston Heath, also to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, NHS and HSE; 'health & safety' advice to the Police, HM Customs and Excise, Driving Standards Agency. 'Environmental management' advice for McCain Foods. I have security clearance with the FCO and NCS, have 5 successful years' commercial experience and enjoy a rewarding level of professional credibility.
