Posted By kelvin G'Day, I am in England from Australia and would suggest that you try the Safety Institute of Australia (SIA)and try the discussion forum. For work in Melbourne or VIctoria try 'The AGE' and 'Herald Sun' job sections. Before you go i would suggest trying to get membership with the SIA. Regards Kelvin

Posted By peter gotch In response to Richard, because they advertise posts on their site. Paul, you will see that you are past the sell by date for current recruitment. http://www.workcover.nsw...cover/2004inspectors.htm As indicated above you should also look through the discussion forum at http://www.sia.org.au/ Jobs have been advertised on this in the past. Good luck. Peter

Posted By AlanPB Paul, I looked into H&S career in Australia this time last year and was a bit surprised at how little there seemed to be in terms of jobs available that were permanent (or even semi-permanent at that), and ones that paid well were also thin on the ground. Things may have changed since then. I would certainly recommend you visit the SIA website. It is a potentioally excellent resouorce to get you chatting to H&S professionals in Oz. Get on there and do some networking - it will get you where you want to be one way or the other! Alan
