Health and Safety Student Placement - 6 Months – Jan/Feb 2005 to Jul/Aug 2005 The opportunity has arisen for a six-month placement within the environment, health and safety (EHS) department. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the daily operations of an active EHS team. The successful applicant will support the EHS team, mainly focusing on risk assessment, audit support and closure of corrective actions. There will also be a responsibility to establish a documentation system and gather research for specific projects including the potential for renewable energy technologies on the site. Applicants will be studying towards a health and safety focused degree, but with either joint study, past experience and/or knowledge of environmental issues. You will also have an eye for detail, strong communication skills, a proactive approach. Salary: Discussed with successful applicant.
