Hi,

I hope you can help.

I'm currently employed as a Manufacturing Engineer with a responsibility for site H&S. Unfortunately the company is not matching my desire to succeed and progress my future any further in a Health and Safety role.

I feel I need to put myself in the market place to fulfill my long term ambitions. I am Nebosh Gen Cert qualified with nearly 14 years experience in Engineering and 1 years experience in H&S.

I am wanting to further my knowledge and am currently looking into the different courses available.

My current salary is £22000 inc pension, but would be willing to drop if the right position came up.

So if you know of a company who needs an up and coming proffessional who's willing to match my long term goals, please let me know.

My CV is available on request dbates@aeromatix.com

Hi Darren

You will need to further your education and progress to Corporate membership of IOSH. Most job adverts are looking for Membership of IOSH as a minimum standard and three years experience in Health and Safety.

I would suggest that you stay where you are and nuture the management along to your way of thinking and by doing that you will enhance you prospects once your are further qualified.

Hope that this response does not dampen your ideas. Stick with it and build on what you already have.

Kind Regards

Robert Paterson MIOSH
