Folks,
I am seeking a figure from my Irish colleagues.
Can anyone inform me as to what renumeration a H&S person with the following job description should get. An approximate figure would suffice.

The job is country based visiting many sites where the contractor is a subbie.
Then there would be about 3 - 6 siytes where he is main contractor.
There is a lso an engineering workshop which he is responsible for.
Courses completed are the UCD H&S cert. along with many internal and external courses run by various providers.
He is the only H&S officer for the company, which gives him a company van.

AN approximate figure please for yearly salary.

I may have left out a few details but this is the major part of information required.
Cheers,
Jim

On average try to negotiate anywhere between
33 000 Euros to 45 000 Euros.
There is an acute shortage of H&S profesionals over here,
However you should appreciate your worth and limitations depending on qualifications and experience, whereby you may consider asking for additional enhancements for any special roles.
(i.e. planning suprvision, environmental controls etc).
I hope this may be to your satisfaction, whatever mate, good luck

Regards

Terry
