Posted By Kieran Hallinan Don't despair too much, having been in exactly your position 5 years ago I know what it feels like. There are lot's of H&S positions available in Ireland and not only for experienced personel. My advice to you is to follow what you've probably already been told. 1. Decide what area of safety you want to go into i.e. Training/Industrial/Construction etc etc 2. Register your CV with a number of employment agencies. For a list of those which deal with H&S try www.irishjobs.ie 3. Check the national newspapers for companies which are employing directly. Often you will find that industry will take graduates more readily than say construction. Most importantly persevere, the average time taken from job application to actually getting a job varies but in most cases you are talking about 12 weeks. best of luck in your search
