Posted By GeoffB4 We loved it out there Ali (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain) but that was under the protection of a large company who were well in with the UAE governments. We always advised people looking for a job to come out and see for themselves (Abu Dhabi was typical with several job agencies to look around and the local newspapers). Essential to get the right package though including regular paid holidays and flights, accommodation, car etc. I imagine the whole thing has changed since we were out there so these comments may not be valid. We loved it at the time (it was our second project out there), BUT I wouldn't go back.
