Posted By Ken Taylor I trust that your risk assessment will have concluded that the barbed wire does not present a risk to persons using a public highway or adjacent to the fence and that it is not readily accessible to children (eg from scaling or overhanging trees and structures). The major safety signs companies (eg Stock Signs) now include a 'Warning - barbed wire' sign in their ranges. This should be yellow with an appropriate pictogram in a black triangle and displayed so as to be visible to all access points.
