Posted By Ken Urquhart Colleagues, For those of you frustratd by the ravages of the curent UK climate and the routines of Health & Safety in your sphere of business; Perhaps any dreams of winter warmth on sun drenched idylic tropical islands that you have may change if you look at Healh & Safey issues in developing/non industrialisd countries and cultures around the world. Look at the BBC news page on the web. www.bbc.co.uk then go to News at top right of page, this opens ront Page and scroll down the right margin to the heading Coconut shy? - this takes you to the piece; "Solomons' coconut injury warning" Alternatively try: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi...rld/asia-pacific/newsid_Perhaps with IOSH's International future in mind The SHP and the International slot on these pages could carry News Briefings from aound the world, (Not just Europe) on Health & safety issues, theres lots going on out there and much knowledge and information to be shared. Regards from Hong Kong where it is reasonably warm. Ken Urquhart.
