I am currently bogged down with another road safety issue. (this area was never in the NEBOSH Diploma, memo to self start new thread on issue).
We transport disabled children in minibuses and other forms of transport. The escorts are required to monitor the children so they have to be constantly alert and looking around and respond quickly to fits etc.
How do we stand with seatbelts? Im more interested in civil claims in the evnt of an accident rather than the criminal aspect. Is there some exemption for people carrying out medical activity, i.e. ambulance drivers that would apply to us as well?
