THE FLT CAN LIFT 2TONNE AT THE FRONT,BUT IT WOULD BE USED FOR TOWING FROM BEHIND. THE UNIT THAT WOULD BE TOWED WEIGHS APPROX 2.5 TONNE IS THIS DANGEROUS,CAN IT JACKKNIFE ANY INFO WELCOME STEVE

Posted By Chris Pollington Hi Steve Due to the vast number of shapes and sizes of the trucks in the market place it would be very hard to make a general comment on what can and can't be done. I would follow this route: Contact the particular truck manufacturer for their information on it's safe use. Consult HS(G)6 Working safely with lift trucks isbn 0-7176-1781-5 which gives very good information on all aspects of truck use, make sure you get the new version as it has been updated last year
