Posted By Ian Waldram You can get the current syllabus from the Employment NTO, their website is www.empnto.co.uk. Note that the OSH NVQ's are being revised and will be reissued from 1 November, according to eNTO's Spring 2001 Newsletter. For the type of people you are covering, an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in OSH should be of interest. The good thing about this is that it covers the additional competencies such as Communication, IT, etc. that OSH practitioners need, as well as the OSH competencies. If the individuals already have these, there should be no problem demonstating that, if they don't it will help to 'round them out'. More details are on the same website.
