Posted By Ralph Ellington Having more than a passing interest in occupational health I though I would catch up with the latest from the "best practice database" from the "Securing Health Together" website. Those with an equally keen interest may wish to inspect the best practice contained therein. Try http://www.ohstrategy.ne...rojectID=14&Search_ID=38 but only if you have a few minutes you don't mind wasting. Regards, Ralph Ellington

Posted By Ian Waldram On behalf of IOSH Technical Affairs Committee, I met with HSE last week. They told me they have 60+ 'Best Practice' submissions currently being validated for accuracy before posting to that website, so maybe that's why it isn't much help at present? Of course it might also be that those with really effective OH practices don't know about the site, or are too busy to send them to HSE? - now there's a challenge!

Posted By Ralph Ellington Thanks Ian, I look forward to reading new postings when they finally appear. Just today (28th) I had no difficulty in finding the jokey test messages with "Cost - more than 500,000" "Source of funding - taxes of poor people" and "Achievements - providing secure and well paid employment for civil servants". Most amusing. Ralph
