My organisation is looking at revamping its policy, and I have suggested that the draft ACOP may be a good place to start. Secondly, does anyone have a policy or better yet undertaken a Risk Assessment for staff required to enter "smoke rooms" to clean as part of their duties.

I believe that the position is that we are still waiting for the HSE guidance. As to cleaning smoking rooms, if adequate air extraction is installed, the operation should be able to be carried out safely after sufficient time has elapsed for a complete air change when use of the room has ended (ie evening or, better still, before smoking commences in the morning.
