Posted By Frances Robinson I am gathering information on the type of asbestos that used to be used in storage heaters - what it looked like, type of asbestos used etc. I understand that before 1975 it was common for storage heaters to contain asbestos. Is there any way I could obtain perhaps a manual of how they were constructed using the material or a more in depth list of models which contained it. Thank you in advance.

Posted By Mark Preston I suggest you contact some electricity suppliers, tho' a few years back, when we still had local electricity suppliers, they had stopped providing this advice. I have access to a (dogeared) list supplied by Southern Electricity back in 1984. If you send me an address I can copy and forward
