Posted By Jim Walker Does anyone know if there any decent H&S chat forums on the web that are fun to read. This site is too clean (sterile?) and PC for me. Any thread with an element of controversy or robustness seem to dissapear very quickly.

Posted By Ciaran McAleenan Jim I would like to be able to say there is another one out there that is lively, but I haven’t found it yet. The ones I do visit though bear no resemblance to ‘Stepford’!. Here are a few suggestions for you, together with my 'totally unbiased' commentary; http://members2.boardhost.com/websafety/ (Slow at minute but welcomes free & unrestricted debate) http://beta.communities....cesSafety&naventryid=100 (Confined spaces issues – dormant not extinct) http://siri.org/board/safetyboard.cgi (A bit slow moving – less debate more information requests) http://www.memberconnections.com/asse/ (ASSE members only I’m afraid) http://www.icenet.org.uk/club/chamber/index.asp (Mostly engineering topics – could take on safety issues – Has a good rant forum called ‘soapbox’) Regards Ciaran mailto:ciaran@confinedspaces.com
