I think it is every 6 months? Posted By Renny Thomson Consideration should also be given to ensure that the installation is suitably "earthed". We have recently come across situatiuons where temporary accomodation is only at a site for 2-3 weeks, powered by an independent generator and not bonded to earth.

Electrical distribution systems on construction sites (excluding those within site offices) should be retested every 3 months or more often as experience dictates. (Snip) Installations in site offices experience more harsh conditions than office installations in a non-construction environment. They should be tested more regularly - a period of no more than 12 months is recommended, as well as each time the office is moved. Hope this helps. Best regards Andy
