Posted By Ron Hunter That's a bit broad Dave. It's not about where you work, it's more about how you get there and back. Ladders and epilepsy being the obvious first issue. There are times surely when we have to admit the limitations of our competency and suggest buying in the services of an Occ.Health Provider? Assuming you manage to pull together some sort of questionnaire with the support of the Forum, can you say hand on heart that you are in a position to assess the returns you'll get?

Posted By soundadvice Hi Dave, you need a working at height fitness questionnaire, this is along the same lines as a lone worker or a night worker questionnaire. However you would be advised to have a medically qualified person assess this for you, I would not recommend that this is something you can do yourself. However it is something that can be done as a paper questionnaire, people don't need to been seen on a face to face basis. Hope that helps! Jo

Posted By justgossip would this not be covered by your policy & arrangements?? All employees are required to inform senior management of any illness, medical condition, pescription drugs that may impact or effect their ability to work safely and to work in accordance with safe systems of work. Hence once a year you send out the above statement as a question which all must reply to. Appreciate there are industries in which a more rigerous approach might be required but for a bit of bog standard W&H does one need to go much further than the above. Garry
