Hi

I'm doing a study as part of a degree course on challenges & problems experienced by duty holders when they try to implement the requirements of the CDM regulations. The aim is to identify these challenges and to find solutions and ways to address them.

Could you please take a few minutes to complete a short questionnaire at:

a href="http://www.cdmhealthandsafety.org.uk/">http://www.cdmhealthandsafety.org.uk//a>

It's quite short and most of the questions are multiple choice.

Your help is appreciated. Thanks. Ben

i have filled in your Questionnaire and hope the results are useful to you. I would like to make the following point though.

many of the answers were simply "yes" or "no", however in the actual field of health and safety rarely is a problem answered so easily, i think your document may have benefited from having a "comments" section after certain questions. this is particularly true for question 10, I where i would have liked the opportunity to further advance my answer. I would think others that fill in the document will have the same feelings.

Good luck with your studies.

Hi

NJS

Thanks for filling out the questionnaire. I did consider adding a comments section. But I finally decided on adding an open-ended question so that I can direct the answers to ideas related to my research.

Your input is very much appreciated

I find that the regs are OK its just that there is little enforcement so in many cases there is little adherence to the regs by a client as costs are the only thing that a client is concerned with
