I understand that this isn’t the normal thing but I must ask for help from companies with in the midlands area.
I started a thread about first aiders and the payment of them and I got some very good feedback however I need more information. The decision to consider stopping the payment of the first aiders is a step to reduce cost and hopefully save jobs in the long run.

Please could I get company names of who don’t pay the first aiders anything extra?

Many thanks

The only additional costs we incur are £14 per month per 1st aider. I think this is a small cost is it worth people saying they no longer wish to be a 1st aider and having to pay for new training?

One drawback of incentive payments for first aider etc is after doing this over a period of time and then stopping the payments (after consultation of course!) is that you will very much likely have people withdraw from the voluntary system!

Depending on how many you are paying and what... is it such a huge cost burden on the company?... or having to increase the training budget when having to find and train others to keep the numbers up may be a greater cost?
