Hi All

I am revamping my stats to give me greater break down of info, I have followed the IFR calc and have a figure, how can I tell if the figure is high or low for the accidents / hours within our organisation.

I have taken all accidents not just RIDDORS

For April our company rate was 9.63 and 7.46 for the year, how does this compare?

Your thoughts or how your company is doing would be useful

Mike,

I am afraid that it is almost impossible as the organisations do not have consistency in applying the definition of accidents/incidents. Unless there is common reporting criteria, it is very difficult unless you network directly with the organisations you wish to benchmark with and all adopt the same criteria.
