Posted By Lukasz Can anyone recommend any good publication about inspection regime for lifting equipment and accessories? I just would like to know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable... as I was told that 2mm cut in sling can change integrity and this same SWL would be affected etc.

Posted By FAH Hi Lukasz It depends where the cut is, the materials & dimensions of the sling & loads of other things [sorry, couldn't resist that]. May I suggest that a call to the sling manufacturer/provider may be essential as part of the comprehensive RA essential to determine what defines "acceptable" or "unacceptable" in your particular circumstances.
