We have staff scattered all across GB (including many home workers)and centrally organising what is colloquially called PAT testing is very costly and unproductive. Also, has anyone considered what the legal impications of staff doing this work would be if we did get equipment failure causing say a fire?

Posted By Crim You don't have to be an electrician to test portable equipment. There are lots of test equipment on the market and the suppliers provide training, one day will suffice. Just google and it will be found.
