How do you do it??

Clicked on the search tab, entered my criterion (fire doors) under 'post' and specified 'match any words'. Got an ambiguous message starting 'Ishidden...'

Anybody else tried to use search?

I just think that the database is still in transition so searching for items pre switch may not be functioning yet

I can't even work out how to make a new post let alone search

Am I missing the very very obvious - if so I have been for the last 30 mins

I think you are right about searching for older posts - we need to wait a bit.

As for starting a new topic, if you go back to the Discussion forum index page ...http://forum.iosh.org.uk/default.aspx?g=topics&f=142

About halfway down the page, below the 'breadcrumbs' and the page counter there is, on my screen, a button marked 'new topic' - this is the one that you need to start a new thread/topic.

I haven't actually tried it, but I hope this helps.
