Cannot be transported as Limited Quantities (LQ4 applied max size of container 3litres) so the container must be UN approved, marked with the UN number and be labelled with the flammable liquid diamond.
The driver requires awareness training and the vehicle must carry a 2kg fire extinguisher (sealed and marked with the date of next inspection).
No vehicle markings are required, no Instructions in Writing as the load is below the load limit exemptions.
Other exemptions for companies where it undertaken by an enterprise which is ancillary to their main activity. From HSE website:
Carriage that is "ancillary" to main activity. Note the second part of this exemption which limits its scope. This is not easy to define. For the present the following guidance is offered. A driver taking dangerous goods with him for use with some machine or process that will be operated on arrival will be exempt. A journey taking dangerous goods to "re-supply" the above example will not be covered by this exemption (but other exemptions may apply).
